STEP 1: Login to LSRA e-Services
- Please login to Government-to-Business (G2B) digital services in Singapore using SingPass. For more information, please visit here.
- FLAs and GPs do not have SingPass. To update the particulars of an FLA or a GP, login to LSRA e-Services using the SingPass details of one of the member law practices.
STEP 2: Update particulars and/or request reissuance of licence/certificate
- Under the Legal Profession (Law Practice Entities) Rules 2015, the particulars of law practice entities should be updated as soon as practicable, in any event within 7 days of any change.
- The update application form is similar to the new licence application form for the relevant law practice type. Before you begin your application, you may wish to refer to the User Guide and applicable sample forms on the LSRA e-Services portal. Please note that the sample forms are provided for reference only and cannot be used for submission to the LSRA.
- The completed application form must be signed by the Managing Partner / Managing Director / Manager or Partner / Director (or equivalent) with the requisite authority of the applicant law practice entity.
- No fees will be charged for any updates, unless the re-issuance of a new licence/certificate is required, e.g. when there is a change in the law practice entity's name.
- The re-issuance fee can be found in the First Schedule of the Legal Profession (Law Practice Entities) Rules 2015.
- The re-issuance fee must be paid online using a valid credit/debit card.

STEP 3: Receive outcome of update
- The estimated processing time is 30 working days. Applications with incomplete supporting documents/information, submitted during the peak period from December to April, and/or that are complex, will take longer to process. Complex applications include those involving concurrent appointments, foreign interests in Singapore law practices and/or collaborations between Singapore law practices and foreign law practice entities. You are therefore advised to apply in good time.
- The LSRA will seek clarification or further information from the Main Contact for the Application.
- Changes made to a law practice's particulars (e.g. name, address, telephone/fax number and/or email address) will be transmitted to the Supreme Court's eLitigation system, within 1-2 working days. For more details on eLitigation, please refer to Supreme Court’s website.
- If the re-issuance of the licence/certificate is requested, a copy of the new licence/certificate will be emailed to the Main Contact for the Application.
- After LSRA has re-issued the licence/certificate, it can also be downloaded anytime from myDashboard.
