The above-named persons died intestate, leaving behind no known next of kin. For the purposes of section 27 of the Civil Law Act (Cap. 43), His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Singapore may order the transfer of the whole or any part of the estate to person/s who can establish a moral or equitable claim thereto.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT all persons who claim to be the next of kin or beneficiaries of the estate of the two above-named or who wish to make a moral or equitable claim on the estate of the two above-named deceased are required to send the particulars of their claim in writing to the Public Trustee within two (2) months from the date of publication. The claim(s) must be received by the Public Trustee on or before 5pm on 14 October 2014, after which date and time the estate will be distributed amongst the persons who have submitted and established a claim including a moral and equitable claim to the estate under the aforementioned provision, and the Public Trustee will not be liable to any person or persons of whose claims they have not received or had notice.
