Official Visit to China by Senior Parliamentary Secretary of Ministry of Law and Ministry of Social and Family Development Eric Chua

1.    Senior Parliamentary Secretary of Ministry of Law and Ministry of Social and Family Development Eric Chua made an official visit to Haikou, China from 2 to 3 December 2025.

2.    SPS Chua attended the 9th International Mediation Summit organised by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Commercial Legal Service Centre on 3 December. SPS also met with Hainan government officials and CCPIT leaders.

3.    At the 9th International Mediation Summit, SPS Chua delivered opening remarks, where he spoke about the importance of international dispute resolution and Singapore’s commitment to strengthening legal cooperation with China. 4.    SPS Chua was accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Law.
