Maintenance Enforcement Division

The Maintenance Enforcement Division (MED) enhances access to justice by improving the process for enforcing maintenance orders.

MED is a division under the Insolvency & Public Trustee’s Office. To enforce maintenance arrears, an application must first be filed with the Family Justice Courts via https://ifams.judiciary.gov.sg. The Court may refer the matter to Maintenance Enforcement Officers (MEOs), who facilitate conciliation, conduct fact-finding into the parties’ financial circumstances, refer suitable parties for financial assistance, and provide relevant information to the Court.
